Ian turned one year old today! I can't believe how fast the past year has gone and how fast Ian is growing up! I feel like he was just born and now he's walking around the house and talking up a storm! We had a small birthday party for him yesterday which was a Pirate Party! It was lots of fun, except Ian was feeling a little under the weather, so I didn't get a lot of pictures with him smiling. We held the party at my sister-in-law Susan's house, and she went all out and got this big inflatable jumper/slide thing. I guess it was worth it, because the older kids were in it all day! We even took Ian down the slide a few times. Here are a few pictures from the party.
Believe it or not........I actually made this cake! I know it's not the greatest, but hey, I'm not exactly known to be domestic!
This is the jumper/slide thing that Susan rented. They pump water down the slide so the kids played on it all day!

Uncle Daniel took Ian on the 4 wheeler while I was in the house because he knew I wouldn't approve! He went really slow and Ian actually seemed to love it. Oh my gosh......my child is going to be a redneck!

Abby had a blast! I knew something was wrong because Ian was too quiet and calm for a one year old. I hope he's feeling better.
Ian is SO big! I can't believe he is one year old! I haven't seen him since he was born. Time does fly! Tell Ian Happy birthday for me!
I love the cake!! You are more creative than you think! ;) Ian might be a redneck but he is one heckeva cute one! I was thnking of him the other day and I got teary eyed because I miss him so much!! I'm glad he had a little fun with him being sick. looks like he enjoyed his cake!! Happy B-day.
